When you send a form

The contact form and the roof assessment form ask for your name, phone number, email address and, for an assessment, the property address and a few optional questions about the roof. We keep what you send in our own database and email it to our office so someone can contact you about your project. We don't sell it or give it to anyone else to market to you.

With a form, the site also records the page you came in on and, if you arrived from an ad or a tagged link, the campaign details in that link (for example a Google Ads click ID). That tells us which ads bring in real enquiries.

Advertising measurement

We advertise on Google. When the site's measurement tags are active, Google Analytics and Google Ads record visits, calls started from the site and form submissions. When you send a form, we share your email address and phone number with Google in hashed form (scrambled one way, so the original can't be read back) so Google can match the enquiry to the ad that led to it. You can control ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Cookies

If you arrive from an ad or tagged link, the site stores a small first-party cookie (sk_attr) with the campaign details for 90 days, so a form you send later is still credited to the right ad. After you send a form, a session cookie carries the confirmation to the thank-you page. Google's tags, when active, set their own cookies.
